Beer Time

Tonight a very tasty brew from The Lost Abbey/Port Brewing Company, Lost & Found Abbey Ale. MAN! Do they even make a half decent brew? NOT!

For my second brew of the night watching the WS, SOX up 4-1. Berkshire Lost Sailor IPA, very tasty brew, highly recommended.

Tonight a bomber of Lagunitas Lucky 13 Mondo Large Red Ale, it's an American Strong Ale, clocking in at 8.3% ABV, very tasty. This is an underrated brewery in my book, but they put out some tasty brew's at a very reasonable price, check them out.

My second brew for the night another bomber of an American Strong Ale, this one is not as potent as the other. It's a Berkshire River Ale, very tasty though.

My first brew tonight, Flying Monkey Amber Ale, not too bad, it's from KS. I'm on a quest to get a brew from every state, I'm at 44 so far.

My third brew for the night, Harviestoun Brewery, Old Engine Oil, a very tasty Old Ale at 6% ABV, but gives a nice warming effect going down.

Been a while since I've been on Autopia...even longer posting here. I started home brewing about a year ago, won some awards with my APA's at a local comp over the summer.

Right now I'm enjoying an American Brown ale I brewed 2-3 months ago. Malty with a nice hoppy pine and citrus flavor, hops fade and nice choc/nutty flavors come through on the finish. Scale back the hops on Arrogant Basterd and lower the alcohol to 5.5% and it's pretty close to what I'm drinking.

Welcome back walnuts!

Sounds like a tasty brown you've got there. Hope to hear from you more often.

GO REDSOX! My first brew for today, Berkshire Drayman's Porter, very tasty. Got the grill out for some burgers and brats, potatoe salad. Cheers!

Dogfish Head Pumkin Ale......YUM....

That's a very tasty brew, had it last year. Hopefully I can get my hands on some this year. Go for other DFH brew's as well, they are all pretty tasty, some way way more than other's they brew.

Number 3 for the night is a very tasty IPA from New England Brewing Co., Sea Hag. I'm liken the cans, LOL GO REDSOX!

Drank some of the Rocheford 8 clone I brewed up 4 months ago. Don't have any of the real deal around to compare it to but it's a tasty brew. Nice warming alcohol, just a bit more noticeable than what I want...maybe some aging time will help.
