Beer Time

It's like driving a hot tub on wheels. You're totally exposed in the tradition of open kidney driving; the air carries the scent of new-mown lawns; and people on every corner swivel around for a better look. You feel more secure than you would in a motorized hot tub, however, thanks to the chrome-moly roll bar overhead and the substantial frame section at your hip.

So, what kind of beer do you like?

Tonight a Avery Collaboration Not Litigation, nice brew. This is a mix or two brew's from two different breweries.

I've seen that one in the store, but couldn't figure out exactly what style it was, so I hadn't tried it yet. Would you recommend it?

BA sez it's a Belgian Stong Dark Ale, would have to agree, but a little on the lighter side though. It is tasty, would recommend if you like BSDAs. Avery 14th is out and is also a BSDA, have one coming in a trade, buddy has not tried it out yet.

For my first tonight a Kona Pipeline Porter, my first Hawaian brew, a pretty tasty brew, lots of toffee/coffee. Total 35 out of 50 states.

Number 2 for the night. A Sinebrychoff Baltic Porter, a very fine brew, complex at that for a porter, highly recommended.

Damn these beers are awesome! Tonight a Goose Island Bourbon County Stout, clocks in at 11% ABV, delicious stuff, oaky, malty, slightly sweet, lots of toffee/coffee/chocolate. Makes the body feel good.

I wish I could, I bet it's even more delicious from the tap.

John-

Are there any macro brews that you're fond of? Not just something you would default to when you go out, but something you would actually buy for the enjoyment of?

Not anymore. Would maybe drink at a friend's house, but would not buy. I can do without, for a day or two, LOL

My first brew for the night is a Full Sail Sunspot IPA, pretty tasty, I've been holding on to this one for a few months. Malty, hoppy, piney, and grapefruity. Recommended.

Number two for the night. A Smuttynose Robust Porter, I'm really enjoying this one, malty, roasty, lots of toffee/caramel. Definitely search out for this one.
