Beer Time

Sometimes older are way better they have a chance to mellow out, depends on the style though. The 07 Bigfoot is suppose to be the hoppiest in awhile.

Happy Easter. Today having a nice brew, quite tasty. Meantime IPA, it's an English style IPA, not as hoppy as a West Coast IPA, but I like it. Grilling some brats (chicken/basil), burgers, and some really nice potatoe salad. Anyone else enjoying Easter with a brew?

Seems no one is contributing anymore. Well, tonight I'm having a Jolly Pumpkin La Roja Grand Reserve, man this is a very tasty American Wild Ale, highly recommended. Last night it was a Dark Lord, the hype is true.

Tonight was a few Deschutes Bachelor ESB to go with some pizza after spreading a whole bunch of mulch in the yard. This is one of my favorite easy drinking beers.

Tonight a 750ml New Glarus Wisconsin Belgian Red, man this is a nice brew, way better than I was expecting it to be. Also, on tap, some grilled steak and homemade Polish Kielbasa, with some homemade Potatoe Salad.

Having a Duck-Rabbit Baltic Porter right now, very very tasty, highly recommended. Later on a homebrew from a buddy here in SLC, a Rye IPA. His Cherry Stout awhile back was awesome.

Tonight was a Stone Ruination IPA (always one of my favorites) and a Deschutes Obsidian Stout (not one of my usual brews, but a very good stout. i usually drink the Black Butte Porter instead, i guess just because it's far more common).

Speaking of Ruination, my buddy was just over to the brewpub a couple of days ago. He brought back a 1 liter growler of there Triple Dry Hopped Ruination for me to try out. MAN, can't wait till tonight or tomorrow to pick it up, plus some other goodies he got me from Pizza Port/Lost Abbey.

Oh man... that sounds *really* good. You'll have to let us know how it is.

Well, Well, Well had the Stone Triple Dry Hopped Ruination Double IPA this afternoon, let me tell you, this probably was the hoppiest brew I've ever had to date, one hop bomb for sure, if you live in the San Diego area, make your way over to the Stone brewpub for a glass, you will not regret it one bit, Cheers!
