Beer Time

Coors. It's a once a year thing they do with Winterfest, but I've never tried it, yet. :D I just hope it's half as good as their Blue Moon!

(from Coors)

Winterfest...

Brewed only once a year for the holidays, Winterfest is a handcrafted brew that has earned Coors much recognition and has become the nation's longest-running seasonal brew, celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2005.

Coors offers Winterfest nationwide in limited quantities and packages during the holiday season.

A couple of Bridgeport Ebenezer's for me. That's Bridgeport's winter warmer... another pretty good winter seasonal. Also picked up a bomber of Rogue Santa's Private Reserve at the store today, but didn't drink it yet. That's another of my favorite winter beers... man I love this time of year! :getdown

Had some SA Winter Lager yesterday; this year's offering isn't bad at all. A little less 'harsh' than I thought it might be...

Waiting for the new Ebenezer's myself, enjoyed it last year. Just had a Santa's Private Reserve a little while ago, pretty tasty.

Probably will pick some up when it arrives in UT.

A couple of Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier from the world's oldest brewery, this is what a hefe should taste like, delicious.

I saw Great Divide Hibernation Ale in the store today. I hadn't seen that before, so I picked up a 6 pack and just cracked one open. It's pretty good. Has a little of a chocolatey stout-like taste too it, but much lighter in body than a stout. Definitely doesn't follow in the same style as a lot of winter seasonals, so it's a nice change for me this time of year.

Have you opened it yet? I'm going to get some of SN Celebration Ale and am still trying to find places that carry Anchor Steam Christmas Ale.

Have not opened a bottle yet, it will be awhile, I have other's to try first, lol The Anchor Christmas Ale should be out I believe.

Just picked up two sixers of AS Christmas Ale -- I'll be opening one (or two) soon, the rest I'm going to let sit for a while.

Funny, I saw Rogue's Santa's Private Reserve sitting there, but no SN Celebration yet.

Way to go on the Anchor Christmas Ale. I should be getting some soon, hopefully.

Tonight a bomber of Moylan's Hopsickle Imperial Ale, it's a DIPA, very very hoppy and delicious as all hell. Got this one in a trade with a all time favorite ESB (AleSmith Anvile Ale).
