Beer Time

Whats a 60 minute IPA? I was offered some today at the store, but turned it down. I think it was made by the same brewery that makes the snake dog IPA.

I have not had the 60 min. yet (only 90 min. and have a bottle of 120 min). It's made by Dogfish Head, you should go back and get it as fast as you can, most likely will blow away the snake dog IPA. The minutes is something to do with brewing time/curing time. The 90 min. IPA is one of the best as of now. What the hell are you waiting for!

   I don't know, he looked at me funny when I did not buy it. Maybe it was 90 minute, but whatever he said it was very good. next time I am in the area, I'll get some

John, I just found out how big a growler is. For me, I'd call it a stumbler!

Yeah, if you drank one yourself, lol There great if you have a few people over and you want something fresh from the local brewery. Never bought one yet, but will someday. I've seen a few poured though, they usually go from around $11 here.

The 60 Minute IPA is very good, haven't had the 90. The first time I tried the 60 minute, I liked it, but it wasn't my favorite. I really warmed up to it, though. It has an interesting flavor to it that I can't quite place. It's not just super-hoppy, but has a nicely balanced flavor.

Having a glass of Saranac's Pumpkin Ale tonight. Has a nice slight taste of all-spice. I think this would make a great fall beer. The kind where the temps drop down to the 60's in the early evening. Too bad I can't get this year round though.

Having a bomber of Bear Republic Big Bear Stout, a Russian Imperial Stout, my first. Pretty tasty, quite different than a regular stout.

Now I'm having a glass of Blue Moon and the sediment that comes with it. Kind of strange seeing stuff floating around, but it tastes good so I can live with it.

Stuff floating around? Is it bottled conditioned? If not, it's most likely a bad bottle. Usually bottled conditioned beer will have some yeast on the bottom, either you can swirl around the last few ozs. and drink it or just leave it in the bottle, I usually drink it.

I'm thinking it's OK since it says it's unfiltered. It tastes alright to me. In the bottle it looks like almost a whitish powder somewhat suspended. Crap, I hope it's not anthrax! Cause I got 5 more to drink.

Having a bomber of Reaper Ale Deathly Pale Ale, very tasty in my book, a underated brewer, try them out, I'm sure you will like them as much as I do.

Rogue Shakespeare Stout tonight. Interesting taste for sure. I'm not sure what I'm tasting but I think I like it enough to buy more.

That is one great Stout, nice to see you try some.

Having a bomber of Avery The Czar tonight, clocks in at 12.2% ABV, really nice brew, by the way it's a Imperial Stout. Anyone else having a brew tonight?
