WRX Update on bottom of Page 3

With the reformation of Autopia and myself being extremely busy, I leave you with a graphic intensive post. It has been quite the week and I will only post up the full jobs as the washes have become second nature and not enough of a turn around for me to post.
First up, a 1989 Ford Mustang GT in need of some SERIOUS TLC! This interior was damn near perfect so no pics. I was extremely surprised by the cleanliness so I was able to concentrate on real fine tuning areas like thin cracks and crevices. The exterior was a far different story
.
The front nose and rear bumper were repainted and pretty poorly at that. The hood had the lovely zebra stripes...I mean buffer holograms and left with terrible orange peel. The rest of the single stage black was damn near scoured, as it should be after 16 years sans polishing. It was also oxidized a bit. The owner trusted my work and what I could do with the vehicle to bring it back. Final processes:
-NXT Wash
-PB Clay with NXT wash as lube
-Menzerna Powergloss via rotary and LC Cutting Pad x 2 (!!!)
-Menzerna Final Polish II via rotary and LC Polishing Pad
-Menzerna Final Polish II via rotary and LC Finishing Pad on hood (the most slight buffer haze but I needed it gone for my sanity)
-Poorboy's EX by hand
-Eagle 1 Wheel Acid on wheels cut 50/50 to clean, then the rims/tires/wells dressed with Hyper Dressing cut 3:1 and wiped dry after 10 mins
-Meguiar's Trim Detailer on plastic/flat black paint
***My apologies for the after shots. The sun disappeared and was in and out for the remainder of the day.
