Autoint/Valugard Rubber Protector

I have been looking for a new water based tire “gloss that I could use on customer cars. One of the ones that I am trying out right now is autoint’s Rubber Protector. I used it last night on the Saturn, it went on good and it is white like Z16. At first I thought it was going to have to much gloss for me, it was really shiny. When I went back out to the garage today I was dried to a nice black with a satin shine. I liked the look a lot! I am not sure how long it took to dry to look like that? Probably more than a few hours, which is not what I want. I need something that drys fast! Anyhow I reached down an felt the tire, it was nice and smooth and felt clean. I then looked at my hand, it was dry and clean as well. I was impressed. It makes the tire look really black and new. I love the look.

Now for the bad news, The smallest amount that you can order is 6) 32oz bottles. Ya so that is 6-32oz bottles for around $38. If you look at the costs of a lot of the tire dressings I have tried and use that is on the cheap side still.

Let me get that straight. You have to order SIX 32oz bottles? As in six seperate 32oz bottles? :D

That is 1 1/2 gallons. Not too bad for $38.

I really want to see about the Eagle One Trim Shine or whatever that is where you can get 5 gallons for $50 including shipping. That seems like a awesome deal! I'm just not too sure about ordering 5 gallons and then not liking it :)

ya thats what I thought too, I may have to get some, I mean... can you ever have to much of any car care products>?

Autoint was nice enough to send me samples also...

Just finished buffing (Meguiar's DACP, 3M SWR, Klasse AIO, Klasse SG) afte using the Autoint ABC system to remove previous multiple coats of Meg's #26.

Tomorrow i will do one more layer of Klasse SG, wait til Thursday's arrival (UPS) of Souvean AND P2S1. I'll do my own comparison of the carnauba toppers.

I was very impressed with the ABC process - 2nd time I've used it. Still need to clay afterwards, but it leaves the surface clean! No doubt.

I'm also going to compare their tire dressing with 303 in the morning....

I'm hoping they have a training session in January... I'll have time to go. Maybe I'll find out why Ketchum was banned?!

Stay warm

Jim
