Great post and even a better reply! I got a good chuckle out of it.
It's very hard to express ribbing/jesting on the net but you two pulled it off perfectly.

Bob makes it hard for me to be a narcissist

LOL........... as we had talked Todd, I used to not put myself in pics you know emphasize the car........... but lately there are clowns around the country who steal the pics for their own in a heartbeat and short of watermarking(which is a no/no on every forum) what else can you do.

Some guys are so blatant about it that you wonder what they are thinking.....

LOL... I understand...

My comment has been totally taken out of context, it has nothing to do with you in your pictures (which I hadn't really noticed, I was to busy drooling at the cars... I can totally see how my comment could be taken as such...

What I meant is that how could I possibly believe I'm the best (and thus be a narrcist when I have to humbly submit not only the amazing work that Bob does but also the amazing vehicle's which are lucky to recieve his work.

Top notch all the way around.

Picture theft is low, I use to hear about it from some Landscape Pro's - they had pictures of their perfect striped yards "borrowed" and end up on some redneck's grass-cuttin add, whole yard for 15 dollars.....

When I do post a click n brag, you'll all get a good look at the man, the myth, the bug! Pardon me while I whip this out.........sorry thought about Blazin Saddles and the surprise of Rockridge.

No worries Todd, there is one one guy I am focusing on who is a tool deluxe who stole written content from me and pics from Paul Dalton's website and copies every technique and product Dave and I use.

Just to clarify why I put this up, its a bit of an inside joke between Bob and I. In retrospect however, I look like one of those "too cool to be on the forums guys" who has all these inside jokes which makes those on the "outside" feel, well, stupid.

Bob and I have conjured up quite a few inside jokies over the past year.

Lately our joke content has been based around the hacks who are hijacking threads everywhere, questioning the processes and end results... even when the owners of said detailed vehicles come on the forums to confirm and praise our level of work.

In the past month I have been told the following....

1) I didnt know how to correct paint and Bob is my mentor
2) The work Bob and myself did this summer was all smoke and mirrors
3) We got fired from a product company because of our poor work

I should print up banners of all the **** said to me and hang in over my detail area = massive MOTIVATION!

Just kidding, you guys do great work:notworthy:

Well............

Alot of the guys here do not know about the drama and it is great that it will not reach into this slice of heaven(TID) but this guy has followed everywhere else we have been.

The "mentor" and "prodigy" remarks are especially funny, but we have top pro's and enthusiast detailers here who know "who's who in the zoo" and his act would not fly here. Anyway Dave is VERY observant on things and has that funny "Northeastern" dry sense of humor and this summer there were a couple of times I was literally on the ground laughing and could not work for ten minutes when he visited and we would go back to work and he would just look at me then it started all over again.

I also had a lot of laughs when "CARBONE INC" worked with me too, so about now Bing you should be posting as you come out of post traumatic GI syndrome(lol).
