Are there any pictures of Accumulator's cars?

I'd love to see your shop! From the partial descriptions I've read over time, it really sounds like something any red blooded car guy would go ga-ga over! It's part of your residence, but separate from the actual garage IIRC?

I think a lot of us have images in our head of Accumulators garage and what it would look like.

CH96067- Eh, Brad's would win by a landslide, or at least it would probably even get my vote! In part, Brad's is, as he puts it, a sanctuary, and mine simply isn't about that. Mine is what *I* want, for what I generally do and how I go about it, but that's a kinda, uhm... limited-appeal kind of thing. I mean, I sometimes think that I don't so much "like" my shop as "just appreciate having it to work in", if you get my drift. And note that when I built mine, I still had a big commercial building with a lift/etc. Had I known I was going to sell that place I woulda probably done some things differently, but my crystal ball was kinda foggy back then.

And no, the comparo won't happen. I'm way too cyber-paranoid to post such stuff to the internet (hence the whole gist of this thread :D ).

That's what I'm talking bout! I say we pack a few Sun Guns in our side holsters and carry a double barrelled halogen for the heavy lifting. :laser: :car:

Heh heh heh...I go offline for a weekend and look just look at the [stuff] that gets posted :chuckle:

I'll tell the dogs to keep watch for rogue detailers equipped with SunGuns :nervous:

And speaking of stuff that happens when I'm not looking, I see somebody has been monkeying around with my signature again too!

Your new signature reminds of this:

Scottwax- Heh heh, well...it's not really "my" signature when uhm...[somebody else] puts it up there for me. And speaking of [that somebody], unless I miss my guess:

Barry Theal- Barry, Barry, Barry......what am I gonna do with you?!? This is what I get now that you're all successfull and not working 20-hour days, huh? Don't you have some thin clear that needs wetsanded or something? Heh heh heh...:nana:

Hey buddy! you listen here. lol I still do work 20 hour days, Just not as hard. How do you like the the smiley face? I think I'm gonna talk to the powers to be here at autopia land and see if we can name this one Old Man Accumulator.

Barry Theal- Heh heh, wonder what the guys here who are a lot older than my 51 think of this "old man" business :chuckle:

Maybe I oughta be taking some shots here...I saw those pix from Vegas :boink: and this Old Man is still in better shape than most guys half his age ;) But I guess I'll act my age and behave myself...saintly ol' me....

Ok,we all know accumulator is a 35year old unemployed, loser that lives in his parent's basement. he is grossly overweight, smelly, and has 2 websites up that he constantly bounces between; autopia and dungeons and dragons.

just kidding. i have appreciated reading his posts over the years.

WeekendWarrior- Well, that "unemployed" part is pretty accurate...fine line betwen "unemployed" and "retired", though people seem to accept the latter more now that I'm a bit older.

Hey BTW, I haven't had to break out that nasty-aggressive clay of yours for over a year now!

You get that too, huh? Then they ask you if you're looking for a job... I tell 'em "retired" means you don't go to work anymore. Then they invariably ask "how'd you retire at your age." Answer: "goal-setting and preplanning." :chuckle:

TLMitchell- Yeah, I used to say "I'm either between jobs or retired..." but some people seemed to actually expect me to go back to work, like it was some obligation or something and like it was their place to tell me how to live.

I still run into folks who give me (a surprising amount of) attitude about it

Eh, I myself don't much care about what others are doing, I hardly ever even inquire about anybody's profession; figure that if they don't talk about it, it's none of my business. [INSERT Lynyrd Skynyrd song here...]
