...Dreaming on an E92....
I stopped by my local dist. this morning for a few supplies and asked about sealants while I was there. I've tried a couple they offer but I keep going back to Meguiars #20, for the long-lasting protection and ease of application if offers. I'm tired of using the same old thing though, so they brought out the FK1 sealant and told me to try it.
It's a breathable sealant, so I take that it's water-based like the new DP sealant? They said they sell a lot of this stuff to body shops and that they love it for freshly painted cars. It laims that it can remove oxidation and "surface accumulation" (whatever that is? contamination?), and it mentins its long-lasting protection a few times in the description.
Anyway, anyone else used this stuff? I've got a dark metallic blue '07 Honda Accord I'm working on today and thought it'd be fun to try something different. I'm working at home today so I'll check back periodically for answers
