anyone use einszett here?

I use 1Z also, and I love it, all I use is the Glanz Shampoo, Lack Politur Polish, and Glanz Wax... I must say, it is the easiest to use and gives you excellent results everytime! It's always in my arsenal and also my go to!

Well, since 5/06 I've had the chance to try a few more 1Z products and I have to agree that they have outstanding stuff. In fact, I can't think of a product from them yet that I haven't been pleased with.

I havent been able o figure out why it doesnt get the press that some other stuff does.......ie Turtle Wax Ice? Cmon guys for cryin out loud..........If ya gave me a half a day to search, I could come up with quite a bit of "mediocre" stuff that receives accolades.

yeah

I'm an 1Z fan too, but I'm using their black bottle body shop series. Somehow an 1Z product will always show up in my details. Polish by hand here and there, Sprüh Wax or sprayed Glanz underhood or in the jambs, and for factory new looking interiors, I can not imagine a better product than Cockpit Premium.

Noting that we're just BSing whenever we try to get inside other people's heads ;) I've always thought that the way most 1Z polishes leave stuff behind rubs some people the wrong way. Sorta a "it *hides* stuff! How amateurish!" kind of thing

Oh well, I keep recommending the stuff... and a lot of those people PM me about how well it works.

Me too, that's what I've been playing with (black body shop series) for the last month or so. I get a bit of dust with their Pasta Intensiv, but cutting it with Optimum reduces the dust and allows it to work a bit longer. I also use their Hochglanz Polish and their Final Finish glaze. So far so good :xyxthumbs

If you were to compare Pasta Intensiv to one of the more popular polishes discussed here, what do you think it would be comparable to? Would it be a good polish for hard clear coats like VW?

Thanks

I've never used it on hard German paints but I assume that they are Germans, so they must know how to tackle their own finishes. I'd like to hear experiences on this area too.

I used a sample of Pasta Intensiv on a black Audi A8 and I thought it did a good job of cutting. I followed up with Paint Polish and Metallic and it looked great. I thought the P/I worked well with a rotary, although it was better at lower speeds. The other products I used my PC.

I also did an old Porsche 968, red single stage. It was faded badly but the 1Z products brought it back to like new condition.

The Ultra and the P/I both dusted alot, but both also really cut well with the RO or rotary.

Yeah, the rotary speeds need to be kept lower-than-normal. The guys at 1Z told me that the abrasives "fracture" easily..that's why the Ultra can be used by hand.

I'm a big fan of Scheibenklar and Plastik Reiniger. These products are the best I have found in their categories. I've seen PR remove some very nasty plastic stains.

I agree. VERY under-rated...deserves better. I find some of their products 'best in class'. :up

I agree. I have around 25 1z products and I really like the whole line. I started polishing with PC + 1z UPP + PP + MP and I obtained nice results. I don't like the fillers, but they could be removed with an IPA wipedown. I've also some Pasta Intensive and I like it, but I prefer other compounds.

Just used 1Z Gummi Pflege Stift 'Rubber Care Stick', very impressed, works really well on my vert gaskets and weatherstrips. WOW, good stuff. :2thumbs:

Hi,

What 1Z product you recommend for swirl marks - "Paint Polish" or "Extra Paint Cleaner"? My paint looks like this (has light swirl marks)

Just wanted your advice, will PP do the job, or should I hit it with EXP? Of course after that I will follow with MP and Glanz Wax.
