anyone use einszett here?

Thanks ;)

After PP I will follow with MP and Glanz. Do you recommend something on Glanz, or is it ok as final coat?

PP would be more than enough ;)

Well...maybe. I've had marring that didn't look *that* bad and it still took repeated passes of Extra :nixweiss IMO it's best to have all three polishes on hand but I guess it's easy for me to spend somebody else's money ;)

Domas- The Glanz is one 1Z product I've never used, just didn't sound like a LSP I'd like (in part because I value slickness so highly and don't want trim staining). I usually top 1Z polishes with Collinite or some other "heavy carnauaba" but most any wax will work. I've had lousy results trying sealants over 1Z PP/MP as they just don't bond to the wax those polishes leave behind.

FWIW, 1Z polishes topped with Collinite is probably my #1 recommendation, and I don't recall *anybody* giving me negative feedback about it. You might "graduate" to some other approach, but you won't regret that one either. I'm using 1Z PP topped with Collinite on my Blazer, and I'm quite particular ;) I have 1Z WaxPolishSoft topped with #16 on my wife's A8 too.

cajunfirehawk- 1Z is my second-favorite gummi stick. Gotta admit I liked the Wurth brand one better when I tested them side-by-side, but the 1Z is still very good stuff.

I'll see how it goes, if PP won't remove it, I'll buy Extra.

Regarding Glanz as LSP, well, I'm afraid I don't have much selection... 1Z is probably the best I can get here in my country, TurtleWax is king here, I hate it...

Domas,

I was just about to say I would get you a sample of the extra, but it looks like shipping might kill it!

You mean 1Z Extra Paint Cleaner? Like this:

(I could get that one myself, some stores here carry 1Z products).

However, I've noticed there is almost impossible to find Clay Bars in Lithuania :( SONAX has one, but it's quite expensive - $45 for one piece... Anyone knows where to buy cheaper Clay online, with worldwide shipping?

Thanks, but there is no shipping option to Lithuania :( Shipping to Germany is $28 (and Lithuania is even farther), which is quite expensive, knowing the clay itself costs $20...

I'll try eBay.

Bare in mind that the initial shipping charge is high, but if you buy more product the shipping costs rises only marginaly.

For example, if I buy $30 of products the shipping may be $25. But, when I buy $100 the shipping charge is $50. Divided by the number of products, it works out quite reasonable.

Here's some more e-tailers that you can try that I find excellent:

www.danase.com

Welcome to Exceldetail!

Thanks a million, I'll check these e-stores out ;)

But even $50 for shipping (If I buy for $100) is big price, in other words you pay 50% extra for shipping... eBay shows an average $10 for shipping to Lithuania...

I think that Sonax clay is a 200gr pack so it is not so expensive (keep in mind that everuthing in Europe is way more expensive than in USA)

For cheap clay check this (it is very mild)

eBay Motors: JDM Soft99 Japanese Clay G35 350Z RSX Integra WRX P (item 150218970383 end time Feb-29-08 20:52:51 PST)

Thats why buying online from US or Asia is a very good alternative :D

Thanks for the link ;) Is this clay good? $10 is very reasonible price, and the shipping to my country is only $7, I would probably order like 3 or more of those..

Any feedbacks on that clay? Btw, what weight it is? (I don't see any weight notations in the description).

I have bought some. It is about 100gr. I split it in three pieces or two large ones. I find it a very mild clay, but it works ok. There is no reason in buying three at once as he does not combines shipping. Buy one and test it.

Do not expect to much feedback as soft99 are not very popular in USA and USA users have so many alternatives. (I live in Greece and I fell you, it is so difficult (and expensive) to find almost everything.

I bet you can find more quality products in Greece than in Lithuania :) Even Meguiar's is hard to find here...

Btw, this eBay store can be useful, not many but quality product's like Sonus, Mequiar's, Poorboy's etc., and they ship worldwide quite cheap. However the only Clay they have is Meguiar's, but it's not bad, I presume?

THE DETAILING AND STYLING STORE

I have CP for interior and I love it. I was going to look into some of their polishes and other products but I heard they weren't as good as they used to be because of VOC.

Waxpolish Soft followed up with Glanz Wax is a great combo (smells awful, though).

I also like CP, Exclusiv Glanz Shampoo, Gummi Pflege, and Lackfinish Detail Spray.

Do they still make the WaxPolishSoft? I bought a bunch of it back when they were planning to discontinue it, and I no longer see it on the 1ZUSA website
