Anyone had their PC Pad do this? (pics)

The problem with the orange pad is when its not used flat, or used at an angle, the loop will cookie cut the pad. I use these personally on my machine when i do cars and ive never had a problem yet with them cookie cutting. (sounds biased). these pads should not exceed number 5 on the speed dial. Everything has its limits. Im personally working on the problem of correcting the pad defects, but going from factory to the hands of users takes time.

another reason to try edge 2000 products?

I read a thread at DC about a guy using the new Edge pads with the quick disconnect & his pads were delaminating before he finish the car. They usually came apart when he was doing the sides and not on the hood, roof, or deck lid.

He was given new pads with improved adhesive and there was speculation that he was using too much product (solvent problem) or he was really leaning on the PC and seemingly generating too much heat.

We appreciate the response, and it's good to hear that measures are being taken to remedy the problem. I wish the retailers would have mentioned not to exceed speed 5 though.
