i have my 7424, and last october i used #83 with a cutting pad, #9 with a medium pad, and then followed with nxt on a polishing pad (and then #16 later). i can see a few swirls in my dark blue car again and want to revitalize the finish. i have #83, #9, and menzerna IP that i can use (although obviously i won't use them all) as abrasives.
i am thinking to use a polishing pad and menzerna, and then following up with nxt/16, but i've been advised to do #83 with the polishing pad as well. i just want to do what looks best and what will keep the swirls away for another good paint year
let me know your opinions! thanks. and btw, the swirls now are not that bad, just pretty slight (visible, too).
