Okay, obviously this is way beyond me. There's a lot more under the surface than I am privy to. I guess only 800 or so posts in the last five years explains it. I apparently missed a lot over the years.........and I'm glad I did. This forum is becoming a soap opera instead of helping folks trying to learn or improve their detailing skills. What a shame to watch it go to hell over the years. Guess I'll bow out and frequent others that actually have a purpose. Good Day All.

Just today, I received a PM from another member thanking me for making my comments about those banned as this member claimed to have been banned unfairly in the past. So yes, I believe that my comments are valid feedback for the new ownership.
And yes, I do believe that 3D intends to run this site in an ethical manner (and has) and will take the appropriate path and make the necessary changes to continue to do so.

Forum participation is essential for forum growth. People need to feel that their input is needed even if they aren't pro's flooding the site with click and brags.

You guys really need to listen to what you are saying. This once was a forum that welcomed everyone, regarless of skill level, and had a place and something for everyone. Maybe the reason that participation has fallen off, if it actually has, is because people don't feel welcome anymore.

This thread is about bringing back banned members and there's a poll to show how you feel about it. I started this thread in an effort to grow this community. Nothing more, nothing less. I don't want to complain how this place is going down hill and that it's not "fun" anymore. I want it to succeed and be stimulated by more than just newbies looking for answers & Detailers posing as Pros posting thier work. I've spent countless hours reading through old school threads learning from people in the know that were banned for unknown reasons. Sorry if my request comes off as such a selfish desire for some.

Hey, Dave and I disagree on some things about detailing but it doesn't get to be a pissin contests on each thread. I also get tired of the fake "hurt feelings" everytime some of you get called out for a post.
