I know their are many young people here but I'm just curious how many are old guys like me (53) are around. post your age and how long you have been detailing. I'm 53 been a detailing nut all my life took it professional 4 years ago. Gary :clap:

61 years young...been detailing for a lot of years. Also, bought a Mach 1 Mustang at 60 (couldn't afford one in 69-70 as I just got out of the Army).



Detailing keeps me active and is definitely a stress reliever from the day-to-day job.

I'm 18, and I've been detailing since I found Autopia when I was 16. I'd definitely not be able to achieve any admirable results without having found Autopia!

62 come December.....Bought my "Retirement truck" 10 months ago and started looking Autopia for advise to keep it looking good. Don't know if thats "Detailing " in the sense that I just work on my own vehicles. Just registered here about a few weeks ago and have enjoyed all the discussions and information.

I'm 48, but only feel my age after spending a few hours detailing one of four cars (kids take advantage of dear ole' dad!). Been detailing for 23 years. A great stress reliever, and I love the satisfaction of driving one of the best looking vehicles on the road (thanks to all the members of Autopia, and David in particular) :xyxthumbs .
