Yes, I gave the scooter thing a shot. My friend is the x-ray tech for the surgeon. He gave me a loaner to try out. I couldn't do it with the artificial knee. My wife is hooked on the TV show Blue Bloods. I've watched 3 of the 4 seasons avaiable on NetFlix. I can't really get into it but she's been good enough to take care of me, so we've watched them. No popcorn though.

Thank you very much, I appreciate being in your prayers. Prayer is an amazing thing. They haven't really talked about therapy. I can't put weight on it for 10 weeks. I don't really know what happens at that point.

Haven't chatted in a while. Hate to hear this. I know how this can offset and translate to other parts of the body when compensating. Really take care definitely looks like no fun.

assout:wow, I'm so sorry to hear that gearhead. my son had a similar problem after a drunk driver broadsided his cruiser and shattered his entire left leg. rods an pins held things together for awhile, but the bone fusion also failed and they had to repeat all the surgeries again. the second time around worked out good for him. I know you had to have that sinking feeling of "not again" when they told you the bad news. keep the faith my friend, one day at a time. you're back on the prayer list !

It's been 14 weeks and wouldn't you know it, the parts are just out of the 90 day warranty.
