....on the interior. No matter what I use....I almost ALWAYS end up with streaks.

I seem to get the greatest results from using Invisible Glass...and newspaper, But its messy as hell.

I bought these lint free towels from Pep Boys that work alright, but still not great.

I cant stand it, because many times, they will look great until the sun hits it a certain way, Then forget it!

Is there a certain particluar "way" or technique that yields the best results when cleaning these damn interior windows???? Please share the advice.

Thanks in advance, this forum rules. :up

This forum does rule. :)

I recently purchased some thick, absorbant MF towels just for this purpose. Instantaneous results...I was ecstatic! Stoner's invisible glass is great - has been my 'go-to' for quite some time. I just always fought streaks as well, and finally got it through my thick skull that it was the towel, not the product.

I'm finally rejoicing over a certain glass cleaning product:

DP Krystal Vision :bow

You could try that with a triangular padded Glass Wizard. Remember, glass cloths should always be washed seperately, never with other MFs for wax/polish removal or QDing.

The only "idiot-proof" method I've encountered was:

-Meguiar's Window MF Towel

-Meguiar's NXT Glass Cleaner

I just tried a Black Magic glass towel the other day, bought on clearance for $3 at Wally World.

Well it definitely isn't a MF. The fabric sort of reminds me of my high school graduation gown, but it has to be the best glass towel I've used yet. No streaks, no lint.

i.ve found that using any quality glass cleaner WITH blue surgical huck towels is the way to go. search ebay for some good deals.

I use EO 20/20, NXT, IG

I've tried dozens of glass cleaners including Meguiars and Stoner's IG but have found that 3M Glass Cleaner with a plush mf towel to outperform them all hands down. As someone else mentioned, always clean towels designated for glass cleaning separately.

My process is very simple:

Fold a mf towel into quarters. Spray 3M cleaner directly onto the glass, wipe side to side then top to bottom. Then on the dry side of the towel or by using a secondary mf towel, wipe window again for a perfect streak-free finish. For best results, clean glass when it's cool if possible. I've found that streaking occurs most often when glass is hot and/or in direct sunlight.

Why is it important to wash them separately?

the residue from your other MF could "contaminate" the glass towel.

what ever towel you use for glass, get 'em in quanity so when you wash you'll have a nice load of towels to wash.

Its been around for a while but...

I always get streak free finishes with Stoners IG and newspaper to wipe it off with :bigups

at honda dealership,

we used hospitial towels (blue ones) used to soak up blood, and some cheap glass cleaner, worked very well

My recommendation as well, no streaks since I started using this combination. Cleaning glass has never been easier :xyxthumbs

The main thing is not what you put on the glass, it's what you take off the glass. Streaks are nothing but rearranged dirt on the windows. Use what it takes to get the dirt off and you won't get streaks. I like microfiber and regular cotton towels because they lightly scrub as they absorb. Regular polyester towels do not absorb well. Newspaper works but does not absorb as well, and it's pretty messy. Get the dirt off the glass instead of rearranging it.
