I had no shade today and it was a very very hot and sunny day. The paint got so hot that even OP couldn't be wiped off. A first. It was wierd!!!:chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

It took a little extra time to figure out a process - thank god for CG's EZ Creme.

I worked on the exterior for 6 hours.

PS: I was told that this car has about 350HP or so. The owner may chime in.

Nicely Modded Forester!! It certainly was hot today. I outside for the majority and man was I breakin some sweats!! Great job Thomas, im loving the flake shots and the paint looks miles deep! :)

Awesome dude. are there holograms in that rear panel after pic in the sun.

OHC seems pretty powerful for such soft paint with that level of marring.

I reckon that 106FF and a polish pad could fix that

Looks good Thomas! :2thumbs: Is Subie paint typically soft?

That color has some interesting hues in the sun.

Nice mods as well. I bet the owner surprises a lot of people!

Thanks everyone for your replies.

I now see that it sure looks like it, however I only used the rotary on the hood and the hatch. I think it is the sun coming thru the branches.

I couldn't even touch the tires, let alone touching the paint it was so hot and you want me to use 106ff???? :D :D :D :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

The reson I started with OHC is because I did another subaru although a different model with the same color and it was one of the hardest paints in my experience.

OHC did finish down perfect on this paint fyi

Most are a dream to work on, but not all. I did a white wrx and all I used was Klasse AIO with an orange pad and it eliminated the swirls. I was only suppose to clean the paint. :shocked

It may just be smearing of product. Some else try working in direct hot sun and tell me that polishes/waxes are easily wiepd away, ESPECIALLY if it is humid out. The other sun shots looks perfectly fine. I have taking some halogen shots of my work that have picked up on smearing when it looks like holograms.
