A Swirled Black Subaru Detail

It may just be smearing of product. Some else try working in direct hot sun and tell me that polishes/waxes are easily wiepd away, ESPECIALLY if it is humid out. The other sun shots looks perfectly fine. I have taking some halogen shots of my work that have picked up on smearing when it looks like holograms.

I always make sure that the paint is flawless before I take a picture.

Doesn't really matter.

it was perfect when looking at it.

Yep it could be.

You can get holograms from a PC but you could be right, just the sun breaking through.

OK thanks. I had no idea a suby would have hard paint, I've never experienced it

Wow very nice.. That black color must be special or something.:bigups

I know most of Subie paint ar butter soft.. My '07 OB is super soft, I can marr it with my breathe...Haha J/K.:rofl

I'm starting to think it's something of a crapshoot . . . most of the Subies I work on (and I do a lot of detailing for the local Subaru club) are easy-to-correct, but not so soft as to be a pain, and that includes a couple of Java Black Pearl cars I'd done in the past. I worked on an '04 a few weeks ago that was pretty darn stubborn, though, and took a lot more effort than the "average" Subie I'd dealt with in the past. :nixweiss

Tort

great turnaround td, we mustve been working in the same va sun, op was even dusting on my today, and i did have to mist several stopping points to fully remove.

thank you guys!

VaSuperShine - the old op never dusted.

artikxscout 85 so in the sun a little more. You couldn't touch the paint or plastic trim. Trust me it was hot. I've lived in western Australia. I know hot. I also LOVE heat, so I wasn't complaining. Wasn't the best day for a black car.

considering the circumstances with regard to the heat and what not, that looks awesome! talk about poppage man!

what did you use on the CF scoop?
