A Marketing Idea.....

So any ideas on what to give out? $15 off any service or what? My cheapest service is $20 which is a Wash-n-Vac

I think what I'm going to do is either a percentage off (since I don't charge flat rates for details) or say "free full service hand wash with the purchase of a full detail package" with a disclaimer that it's only good for one month after the date the full detail is performed....

My offer is 15$ off a full detail only. I put mine in a very busy mexican restaraunt. The owner of the restaraunt is one of my customers. We'll see if i get any bites.

by the way, thanx texastb for the great idea!

just checked the magic box...i had some bites, which was cool, so that made it worth while. Anyone else have success. Im sure you did. let us know!

Not to hijack the thread but another idea came from one of my friends dads. Get the window decals with your logo and everything on them and then when you are done with their car have them reschedule and write the date on the decal and stick it inside the top windshield - like the oil change stickers.

Got them. Except I just put my phone number and business name. About the same size as the oil change reminder static cling.

I use a weatherproof sticker inside the drivers' door jamb for that same purpose... works well. I've had a couple of the for-sale prep vehicles I've done come back to me from the new owners because of it. :)

I got 1000 of them for $290.84. It will work out to 17 cents each. It costs an extra $120 for the setup and design the first time. every other time it will be 17 cents each based on 1000 of them

Just an idea.

Why not buy 60 of those and put them in EVERY place you frequent.

Dry Cleaner
Starbucks - if they let you
Gas Station
Candy Store
Delis
Dog Store
Auto Parts Store
McDonalds = leave it near the napkins - if they throw it away so what?
Home Depot

Offer the store manager or worker a freebie here and there so if people ask, He will be pumped to reccommend that they enter.

I did mine on my computer. I picked up some static cling sign paper. Same stuff they make the oil change stickers.....I think it was 10 sheets for $8.99 at one of the local office stores around here. I was able to get 35 on each sheet, which comes out to 350 for less than 10 bucks.......Including ink

One thing though..

Any thoughts on how to get an ok to put these boxes in places (hair salons, lube shops, etc.)? Free wash and wax for the owner, percentage off services, etc.?
