This is how I also understand it.



Just like my experience with the slickness of #26. Sometimes, slickness is down to almost 0% just right after the first wash and just as when you had dried the surface.



However, a day after that wash, or after it has completely dried from the wash, slickness is retained to atleast 60% from the time it was first applied.



I guess this is a fact and applies to all waxes, synthetic or carnauba.



So in that case, the beading may return a day or two after that wash. Seems like you had just removed a layer of contaminants that's why it's not beading.

After a rain, beading DID return.



It was no 100% huge beads, but there is definately still surface tension :)
