I did this '65 Chevelle SS today, paint correction, engine detail.
A real SS car, numbers matching 327/350hp L-79, Factory Air, 4-speed, tilt wheel, heavily optioned. Worth some JACK!!! Body is in perfect condition... 47,000 miles documented.
Roman Red with White/Black interior. To my surprize this was SINGLE-STAGE ENAMEL! I couldn't believe how well it shined up!
An absolutely beautiful car!
Moderate swirls and micromarring. The engine compartment was pretty clean, just needed a wipedown and some dressing on the hoses.
Process:
Another immaculate car under cover... no need to wash.
Claybar: Zaino Clay
Compound: PCXP, M105, LC Orange KBM
Polish: PCXP, M205, LC White KBM
Sealant: Zaino Z5P, PCXP, LC Black
LSP: Zaino Z8 wipedown
Engine: Wipedown with light mist of Purple Power/water mix
Dressed engine with Stoner Trim Shine on Rubber/Plastic
Interior: not required
Before, showing moderate swirls and micro-marrs under Xenon Light:
Showing a clean pad next to the pad after a few passes with M105... definitely single stage paint!!!
50/50 Shot:
A Bunch of After Shots:
