After a quick Z6 wipedown and a coat of Zaino AIO down in the garage of the BMW Welt. I also did Leather Masters Protective Cream on the seats and some Aquapel on the glass. She will get a QEW wash Thursday evening in the parking garage of the Munich Hilton. After that we wont see her for 6-8 weeks.

Congrats Bryan! Love that color combo.

Question for you: Do you always keep Zaino in your carry-on?

Who me? :)

I took the pimp juice right to DHL and had them ship it. Hopefully I will see it in a week or two.

Looks like you guys are having a lot of fun! What an awesome color choice!

Thank you Joey. So far only a minimum of very light wash induced marring. Hopefully they dont hammer it at the PDC.

Very awesome, Bryan! That car is quite unique indeed.

Thank you Charlie! The GT has the interior room of a standard 7 series. I was doing my best to keep it under 3500 for the 1200 mile break in on the way over from Munich yesterday. 80 mph seems very slow here. :)

I had the miles left till empty ran down to about 20 and did a full fillup, right at $8.50/gallon. I think the tank holds 70 liters.

After the GT gets home and doing whatever correction is required, I'm thinking Wolf's Shine and Seal for a final polish and then a few coats of Body Wrap. The new Xpel ultimate clear on the front and tint.

I'm not liking the looks of the wheels either, but that might wait till later this year for a replacement.

What is the finanical incentive to euro pick up? What other reasons besides you get to drive it in europe are there?

I really like the color!

Cheers,

GREG

This is probably no different than the "Museum Delivery" option offered to Corvette enthusiasts; seems like a cool opportunity, really -- can't help but think it would be fun to do a Europe vacation and not have to rent a car.

Thanks Greg! The standard discount for ED is 7% off of sticker. There are salesmen at some dealerships that are very experienced at the ED process that will do ED invoice plus $1000, that put us at 11.5% off. I could not locate a GT in this color combo anywhere, so this process made perfect sense to us.

Charlie, Actually the National Corvette Museum Delivery (R8C) option is an additional $490 that must be specified when ordering your new corvette. As I recall you can watch your car come down the final portion of the assembly line and be the first to start it. That is very cool right there. :)

I will answer Greg's question as you are chilling in the Hotel lobby with Euro beer coldness(Facebook pic I saw) is that a "Happy wife = Happy life".............................. new BMW tightness with a vacation, went to Germany in 99(Frankfurt Auto Show) and driving on the unlimited areas of the Autobahn is a must for any carguy at least once in your life.

Bryan 'Doin it big.......livin the dream" lol.
