I will have the "detailing world famous" Bretfraz helping me. :bow

We are debating between New Finish and Nascar wax. :think2

Uh, Oh. This one is going to hurt. I thought the paint looked like a challenge -that is before I saw the interior picture.

What's the plan of attack on this one?

Isnt it NU-Finish ;) Anyways, why dont you go ahead and save yourself the trouble and just put that car out of its misery!! lol Im looking forward to the after pics!! :)

You guys have some hilarious comments:spit: :grinno:

Funny I just seen the Nu Finish commercial 5 min ago. I have not seen that in over 10 years or maybe even longer.

Bryan that will be a fun one. Good luck and I hope you have the new weapons ready:chuckle: Soon as you wash it it won't be all that too bad.:spit: :chuckle:

I hope your charging a LOT, because that might need to be wetsanded and cut, and thats before looking at the interior.

The owner claims that the paint is original so that should make it a single stage paint.

For polishes we have menzerna 106ff, 085, the new SIP, ZPC and presta 1500/SMR to choose from. Have black (should not need that one) and Green edge wool. White/yellow CCS, white LC and green P2 pads.

We will start light and work our way up as needed.

I think that is a cig lighter next to the pass seat.

For the interior, 2-3 hours of vac followed by many passes with the mytee. Steam clean all surfaces. The seats will get leatherique.

I saw the NU-Finish commercial this morning also for the first time in forever. It actually made me laugh. Way too funny.

Not sure how much we are going to cut to get those deep scratches out.

Darn bulb blew on one side.

The fenders are going to look excellent, the hood appears to be a repaint and will not look as "clean"

Decided to do some wetsanding:

Give us 80 total man hours to have the car looking like that. :buffing: :lol

My dad had a light blue 82' 928. Man I remember taking it to the prom. Was a sweet ride, my brother had it up to 150 on the WV turnpike 20 years ago. That car brings back good memories. You should be proud, great job on it.
