Awesome job! I can't imagine how hot that paint must get in the Arizona heat.
On the topic of difficult black paint, have you ever buffed a 2008 jet black Volvo (maybe just S80s specifically?)? When I used to work at a dealership that specialized in Volvos I remember those cars being tough to finish out properly. The paint was relatively hard to cut, but the compound and polishing pad on a rotory would leave an average finish, it was only when I went to finish with a DA that I had issues. The only thing that seemed to work decently well was a soft edge 2k pad on the PC with OP or FPII, breaking down the polish first and then finishing it out by keeping the pad rotating constantly with just the right amount of pressure. Just wondering how the paint on jet black '08 BMWs compares to the Volvo, I did a 20+ hour correction on an 06 330 sport in jet black a few years ago and it didn't stick in my mind as being overly difficult. Is it certain years of the jet black that are excessively difficult?
