SONUS Coating

Hello everyone, got a product to try from my good friends of SONUS and as far as I know it has not hit the streets yet.

After a 2 bucket wash and clay by Riccardo Yellow and compound and polish by Meg's 100 and 205 using Lake Country's Hydro-Tech Tangerine Pads on my rotary the results were great.

From my use of the coating, the color is green and smell like the old Eimann Fabrik sealant IMO and as far as the instructions you can apply the whole car and then wait 1 hr before remover which I did, but I recommend you remove the coating in about 15-30 mins which is easier to remove with your MF towel. A second coat is not require but one can apply one if it needs it. As far as the time for it last on the paint is another question that has to be answer down the road. I give it a thumbs up and will keep everyone posted.

I got this stuff as well. They are calling it a coating - but it seems like a sealant. Not sure?

I asked the Sonus dude at DF & he told me 3-6 mos. that's why I'm confused... Is it a coating or a sealant?

I was told about 1 yr and it's a paint coating. Well it's on my paint so time will tell.

Yes indeed, replacing new F1 tires with new F1 one's is a pain indeed and mucho dinero also!

I have tried this a few weeks ago as well. It went on and off easily. It is on my neighbors car, so I can monitor the longevity a little better.

We try to use another coating soon Troy to show a 50/50 of how much it repels or be a dust catcher. One thing is this product love the dust that accumulate on the car after I apply it. Maybe it has to do with static electricity? Who knows....
