What is your choice here? For me it's the griots garage MF wash pad.

Wow. I can remember in my teens, you just bought a bone shaped sponge and went to town. :D Wash applicators sure have come a long way! I have just about used them all. Hate mitts. Does anybody really put their hand inside? It was sheepskin pads/mitts for me a long time. Griots still makes a awesome one. Adams wash pads are great too. Two sizes here. Then came the MF craze. I remember how weird the GG pad was to use the first time. But then it turned out to be the best media i have used to date. For me they just work. They come in a two pack. I am still on my first one. When they get dirty, just run them thru the washer. They also come in mitt form too if you prefer that.

I have wanted to try them but I do like mitts. I like to control the mitt more than you can with a pad. Many mitts have a nice interior these days plus I wear gloves all the time when washing.

I switch between a few things depending on my mood:
Lowes Grout Sponge
Lake Country Grout Sponge
The Bone Wash Sponge
Megs MF wash mitt
All white ShMITT
Cobra micro chenille wash mitt
LC Ulti-Mitt

They all work great.
And yes I put my hand in when using a mitt.

I use GG wash mitts, the pads look nice but I'm too afraid of dropping one while in use.

Has any tried GG MF wash & scrub mitt?

Carrand makes a cheaper pad version however I've always been a little leery of their MF products.

I have many, including AG noodle mitts, Wookies Fist, Griots Wash Pad, etc... But for some reason, my favorite has always been the BMW Sheepskin Wash Mitt. $22 from your local BMW dealer. It looks like it could be made by 4* / Premium Finish Care.

I have these for a few years now and love them. Wash em in the machine all the time. I don't like mitts for the paint only the wheels. I use 1 for top and 1 for bottom. Never dropped one before, hold a lot of water and suds and easy to clean.

I love the Griots wash pads. Had the same ones for 2 years and they still look and perform like brand new. I have no reason to change to some thing else.

I myself like Adams large wash pad. It holds alot of soap and water. Waiting for LC Wash wedge to come in and try.

MF Chenille Sponge here. I never like putting my hand in mitts.

I really want to grab a couple Incredisponges.

Anything like the first picture/post or chenille fibers works great for my shop....

Tried a few microfiber mitts long ago when they first came out and hated them...

Perhaps the BMW version will be a much better version - I know that they sell some really great things (albeit expensive) in their parts department...

Man I am somewhat of a wash mitt aficionado...

My favorites include-

The Aussie Merino Wash Mitt- the softest, plushes wash mitt available- my go to for delicate paints

The Lake Country Ultimate Wash Sponge- my regular choice. The gold foam is softer and holds more solution than a grout sponge, and the slotted tabs improve coverage and add safety.

Micro Chenille Wash Mitt- I use this interchangeably with Ultimate Wash Sponge, depending on what's closer.

Supreme530 Microfiber Towel- I use this towel a lot, for rinseless or traditional washes. I really like using a towel to wash the paint post-polishing.

Sponges make me nervous! Todd, how easy is the LC Ultimate Wash Sponge to clean? I like the look of the hand grip - my GG wash mitts are getting old.
