I'm not that fond of doing the interior, but I really SUCK at windows, so I hate to do em.

What about you?

I loathe doing windows, as much as I hate to admit it, I kinda wait till they get really bad. I also hate doing the engine bay; with all the computers and gizmos they got on vehicles now adays it kinda scares me.

On the flip side, I actually like doing interiors. While I hate the black interior on the VW far as being able to keep it clean, I don't mind cleaning it.

Windows and door jambs. Interiors and engines dont bother me, but I hate doing trunks too. Around here, its not uncommon to pop the trunk on an Accord and find out they have hauled a bail of hay or straw in it. Its a total pita to clean that stuff out of the velcro-like carpet in trunks.

I changed my mind. Cloth seats are the worst part by far. I wish I could find the guy who invented this new material they use on seats :kick: :bonk:

If you hate doing interior windows you all should really give the CarPro-US Fast Glass towels a try. Soak them in plain water, wring it out and clean your windows. No mess, no cleaners needed, just a towel that was soaked in water.

I am currently working getting a review for these things done. I got one as I was skeptical. But it works so well I bought 5 more. Simply a great product. And it's not MF. It is a weird sort of towels when you first get it. But it works.

CarPro has so many unique products that work so well, that this doesnt surprise me. Ill have to give them a shot. I use steam 90% of the time for windows, but this would still be nice to have.

I'm with Ron on the engines. Messed up a sensor on somebody's car a long time ago & stayed away pretty much after that. Have done a few tho sense then

Front bumper.... I hate how they are always full of nicks, most usually too deep to buff out. Dang road debris...

I never open the hood unless it's to wipe out the edge and the channel. I have NO interest in engine detailing.

Ron,

Try the huck towels (several) to clean away the grime and finish with PB Velvet Smooth Glass Towel. Get a dozen and dedicate them to windows only. I use 3 to 4 when finishing windows.

Yeah, probably right.

The last time I needed to do my windows (besides detail fest) I had the windows tinted = free window cleaning. :lol2:
