Tried out some Garry Dean's Ultimate Use Detail Juice today

I really cannot tell from the picture or video. It looks matte in the picture but glossy in the video.

I love Infinite Use Detail Juice, but not as a tire shine. Theres a reason why he sells a specific tire gel in addition to IUDJ...

Full strength...I put it on the 2 details that I did yesterday (17 Hrs worth...) and the same thing...shine first then about 10 minutes later...looks like nothing on the tire...Im returning this stuff...I never opened up his APC and Sealant...I dont trust this stuff.
 
Well, part of detailing is about trying something out and seeing if you like it. So you live and learn, hopefully he has a return policy. I personally wouldn't use one product on everything and expect it to do well it all areas, there's just too many variables involved.

Have you even bothered to try using the IUDJ for anything other than tires?

Even Garry himself recognizes that the look of IUDJ on tires isn't for everyone; that doesn't make it a bad product. Personally, I consider it a class leading rinseless/waterless wash.

As for the APC and Sealant, why don't you "trust this stuff"? Seems like you're just throwing the baby out with the bath water, here....

BTW, what procedure did you use to clean the tires before applying the IUDJ? I find that makes a significant difference with regard to the look and durability.

The tires were cleaned using a APC very well per the directions of GD. The last 3 details I tried his product and the same thing happened..shine first and then very matte about 10 minutes later. The products worked nothing like in his videos. Wanna buy my product I dont like?
 

I have been very interested in IUDJ, but only as a wash. I am more interested in see what people have to say and review on this aspect as that is what it is really made for and the other stuff is just extra.

It is an interesting concept to have 1 product that can do so many things, but usually this means that it does multiple thing average and nothing great. Heck it's obvious that Garry himself realized this since he has a dedicated tire and trim product.

 
You can use almost waterless wash product as a tire dressing as the polymer make up of most them are going to give you similar results. There is likely some protection left by the polymers (although I would assume it is short lived) and I would expect the shine to be short lived. This doesn't mean its a bad product.

If it left the tires dark and shiny then those same ingredients would likely cause a smeary mess on your paint, interior or whatever else surface you applied it to.
 
I have his tire shine and his waterless wash I like both a lot but I haven't used the waterless wash as a tire dressing. I have used it in my interior and it left a matte finish which is what I expected and like.

Garry knows what a big fan I am of UWW+ and when he told me he was working on his own I was eager to try it out. I need to order more soon because this is the time of year I tend to do more rindless and waterless washes.

I like his products but I think we all have different opinions on what we like so its not going to be for everyone.

Why not a side by side review of Gary's product and UWW+ doing the same roles even if UWW+ was not advertised as such.
 
I always recommend that anyone talking about a product that they don't like is to just say " it wasn't for me " and go on with their business. If one likes it then say that " It work for them ". Anything short of bashing a product then to me it's tacky and wrong and just put it for sell or trade for something else. If the product was not working as promise then call the vendor and tell them if you can return it for a refund and get a RMA from them.

Im not bashing it...Im just saying it has not preformed anywhere near what as what it is advertised or protrayed in the videos or from what was said over the phone several times. Ive done 5 customer cars and they came out the same way every time. If he has a dedicated tire shine it was never brought up at anytime since it was known I was looking for a nice tire shine product. You all know me...If I like something I will say it and If I dont like something I will say it...I dont hold back punches.

It is funny that you would post this and not contact me first... I have been very accommodating to all of your phone calls and Facebook messages, giving you business advise and suggestions to help get you off the ground...

You are definitely doing something wrong if you cannot get the results Im getting in my videos. I would never BS you or anyone else on a forum or in any video about my products, or anyone elses for that matter. When your brother placed the order for you, you never once mentioned to me that you wanted to use IUDJ as a tire shine. I would have given you some tips to get the results you are looking for. I cannot help on a subject that I am not asked about.

With all of that said, I will happily refund your brother if you mail the product back to me.
