Gloss White S2000 Turbo

This was the job that I picked up after a contractor caused marks and scratches to the front left. This gloss white Honda paint was hard as nails and I wish I had more than one day to work on it. I got the marks and scratches out of the front with an aggressive M105 step, but after taking two more steps to finish down properly I knew I didn't have time to perform 3-4 steps on the rest of the car, which is what it would have taken to knock the hell out of the scratches and RIDS on the rest of the car. I had to settle with Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover with Lake Country CCS orange pads and Optimum compounding MF pads, then finish down and top with Chemical Guys Black Light and Lake Country black finishing pad.

I hope you don't plan on charging the contractor for all that work?

Nope. I charged him for the work to repair the damage he caused. I continued on the rest of the car with the time I had left to use the shop I was at on my own time to showcase the work that I do to the shop employees and the customers who were coming in throughout the day. I worked on this car for over 9 hours today and the price I charged the contractor was most likely less than most of the people on here would charge since it required 3 stages of correction.

Thanks. I wish I had a few more hours of my own time to take care of those harder scratches with M105, but the gloss and shine turned out well and I got rid of swirls. I think this paint was some of the hardest that I've worked on so far.

Wow Im surprised!I thought for sure it was single stage.

My dentist has a red one and it is single stage ,unless its a repaint.

I have one comming up to detail this Wed .Its a metallic sky blue color.

I love these cars!

Single stage? That's definitely not OEM paint then. I've worked on my friend's red 2000 model year AP1, friend's black 2005 model year AP1, another black AP1, and this white AP1 and they all had OEM clear coat.
