Hi everybody,
I'm an amateur detailer and after seeing my car I was asked to detail black Hummer H2 limo. I really need any help, any pointers, any advice would be great.
What I have - Flex 3401, PC 7424, cutting, polishing and finishing pads.
I can not decide what would be the correct approach for this job.
One way would be clay the whole thing, compound/remove all swirl marks with Meguiars 105, following with 205, then wash it, seal it with poorboy's EX sealant with carnauba and finish it with Pinnacle Liquid Souveran Wax.
Another way would be - Optimum Compound II (less dust?)or Klasse AIO with aggressive pad, Poorboys Black Hole Glaze, Poorboy's EX-P sealant or 4 star Sealant and Pinnacle Liquid Souveran Wax.
Disadvantage with first approach - very time consuming, dust from 105, bigger risk to screw up, will probably take about 4 days or longer.
Advantage - swirls are removed, not hidden.
Second approach will take less time, but not as "clean", still I think 2-3 days, just because that thing is really huge vehicle.
I'm trying to find correct (somewhat fast and efficient) way to detail it.
My biggest concern is dusting with M105 and since there are freaking fields of black paint - uniformity, I need to make everything look even, not to over/under work some spots
Please help me, any advice would greatly appreciated!
