Ricardo clay shipment

So I finally received (3 weeks ago) my shipment of Ricardo clay and realized when I opened the box, that the BOGO product did not make it into the box. So I contacted eShine to alert them of this error. Chris from eShine responded quickly to the situation and told me that during the sale they missed a few BOGO items. I am currently waiting for the blue Ricardo to become available before they ship out the BOGO items.

I hate to sound dense, but I have not kept up with detailing and new products like I used to. What is "special" about this brand of clay. I have seen it mentioned in a few threads and I am curious as to what the hub-bub is.

I was told that Riccardo could not be ship state side. How did you pull that one off.:bigups I woun't some:mad::mad::yourrock

I have an address in Canada through my best friend where I have the clay shipped. I have to wait until he goes to Canada to pick it up for me.

What I have noticed using the yellow Ricardo is that is is very tacky and stick to my fingers really good. Also the elasticity is extreme. It is very easy to kneed and reshape.

Now the blue clay is new and it is suppose to be a little more aggressive and have more tack than the yellow. I have not had a chance to give it a whirl but will post my review when after using it.

So.... anyone care to let me in on the secret about this clay?

The clay is much more elastic than that the Automagic clay. If you had used the "old" Mothers yellow clay you will know the texture that I am talking about.
It also felt almost sticky, but the thing I enjoyed was how pliable it was.

But I guess like with anything everybody will have a different opinion on it.

The secret is: it's not (easily) obtained in the US. Ergo, we want it. Me included.
Anything hard to obtain is highly desired.

Has anyone tried what is currently on the shelf (Mothers)? How is it? IME, the older Mother's clay was not as sticky but more pliable than AM's version.

Woo Hoo - I just got notice that my 4 bars of BOGO clay (that were missed on my original shipment) have been shipped. to eShine for following through.

I am from Ottawa originally and in Greensboro now. Going back there for a wedding in August. I may be able to take some orders since I am driving it would be easier to handle. I'll check back in August if anyone is interested.
