This is a "sticky" point that you bring out Troy about `maintaining" a vehicle`s appearance. I say "sticky" because it`s more oxymoronic; meaning a 5-year-old vehicle that has never been compounded or polished, but looks swirled and scratched will have more clear-coat thickness than a vehicle that has been "corrected" every 6-months to keep it pristine-looking, only to suffer cleat-coat failure in the coming years. Which would you rather have? Kind of the now-or-later scenario.....In the past 2-3 years I have been moving towards the position that maintain the existing paint is more important than keeping it perfectly polished. As we transition to water based formulas and thinner and thinner clear coat; and I have avearged keeping my cars for 10+ years I see paint preservation to be key to long term good looks.

On the cheap, I like FK`s 215. More spendy, I like Wolfgang`s AIO.
And believe me, I`ve tried several. In fact, I`ve owned two of the highly touted AIOs mentioned in this thread, and they just didn`t work for me.
