2016/17 NFL thread

My Falcons are 3-1 after beating the Panthers. Cam looks like he has been hit one too many times. Falcons are better than I expected. Ryan threw for 502 yards and Julio caught 300 of them. Looks like a playoff team.

Itll be interesting to see if ATL can maintain the pace they`re setting. They started great last year, and things started going wrong.

As for Carolina, they do not look like the same team as last year at all. Granted, I think they overachieved wildly. Not to say they weren`t the best team in the NFC, because they were, but 15-1 implies historical dominance and they simply were not on that level by any stretch of the imagination. Add to that the off-season changes and such, and Cam just not seeming to be himself, is .500 or close to that an outlandish prediction at this point? It`ll be interesting to see.

I`m not picking the Falcons to win next week away at Denver, but barring injuries they could beat Seattle the following week (barring injuries). I believe Julio was injured for the first 3 games of the season (ankle) and he was pretty much a decoy. You have to give Ryan props also, his passes were dead on. Will the Falcons stay hot? As long as Ryan and Julio stay injury free it`s a possibility. They also depend on Freeman and Coleman to provide a running game to free up all of Ryan`s weapons (Tamy had been the leading pass receiver). Just got to get to the playoffs, then see how it all shakes out.

I wouldn`t pay for it. it`s frozen a couple times and picture is clear one minute and crappy the next. it`ll work for now though
