I have a client who uses this as his daily driver and it lives outside 24/7. Needless to say, it needed a little love from the good doctor at Autodermatology.

A two-step correction was on deck along with a minor interior cleanup, and of course the wheels were hammered.

As you will see below, the majority of the products I used were from Adam’s Polishes. I wanted to give them another shot and see what kind of results could be achieved from his products, mainly the compounds/polishes/pads. I currently use a few of his products-glass cleaner, tire dressing, APC, wheel cleaner, etc on a regular basis. So, I wanted to see if these were up to the task for professional use.

Manly machines: Rupes nano iBrid longneck, and a 15mm longthrow.

Pads: Rupes 1” and 2” pads. Adam’s Polishes orange (heavy) and white (light) cutting/polishing pads.

Chemicals: Wolfgang auto bathe, SCG Pro strip wash, Kenotek anti-insect, Adam’s deep wheel cleaner, Adam’s APC, Adam’s tire and rubber cleaner, Adam’s glass cleaner, Adam’s TID interior, Adam’s VRT for tire dressing. LSP: undisclosed sealant that I am beta testing.

Vacuum via Metro.

Misc microfiber towels were used.

Tuff shine tire brush, Daytona speedmaster and other misc brushes.

Clayed via nano wash mitt.

I found the paint in atrocious condition: Swirls, scratches, haziness, water spots/streaks, etc. It was poor to say the least.

The wheels/tires have never been touched since the dealer slung some greasy dressing on them a few thousand miles ago.

The paint was pretty soft and corrected easily. I was happy with the results I was achieving with the products/system I was using.

End result: I believe I breathed new life into this Procharged beast!! My client was stunned with the results and said he knew it was very bad on drop off.

Doctor Scott at Autodermatology had another successful surgery!!!

Thanks for looking!!!

As I received it:

Beautiful work. I can easily see why the owner was pleased. Thanks for the write up and the great pictures. With today`s machines and compounds detailers have so many great choices of how to get a fantastic finish. Using Adams polishes shows that there are many ways to beautify a ride.

Thank you! Appreciate the kind words!!!

Sweet turnaround.

Geez..I see Mopars weekly...those rare anniversary wheels were Bad

Thanks for bringing my younger cousin back to life :)

Love me some shakers. In black to boot!

Fantastic job!

The only thing keeping me from a Shaker (6.4tho) is they don`t come in Metallic Black like I want, just Midnight Black or whatever it`s called

Anyways, great work and thanks for all the pics.

^^^^Thanks brother! It would look fantastic with a little metallic flake in there IMO! Yeah! That Procharger makes up for it not being a 6.4...LOL

Yea I`d never buy non metallic black, or hell, any color for that matter.

So VRT on the shaker intake?

I`m gonna gloss over the beta testing (jealous!haha) and ask if you got to test drive it? Hello boost.

It`s an unwritten Mopar owner to detailer agreement that I am pioneering. :drive:

No. I did a light polish and then hit it with my beta testing/super secret sealant! For realz!

I did indeed get to drive it. It moves out decent. It`s heavy, but once the boost builds she just pulls...and those tires out back are so small...so easy to blow them off! It`s fun man!

LOVE IT! You get that pioneered and we will all be thanking you for many moons to come!

Just to clarify...you polished the shaker intake? The plastic piece?

What with? I might need a new product now, lol
Unless you misread my q.

Nice job. I have worked on a few challengers and it always amazes me how big that car is after i get into it.

Indeed I did. It was full of hard water spots/hazy/etc. I used my nano iBrid with a white pad and Adam`s finishing polish. Worked like a charm. Cleaned it right up. Then I applied my secret for now sealant.

Beautiful as always...... Car looked INCREDIBLE!

New super secret beta stuff? hhmmmmm

Thanks Ron! Yeah, I`m lucky enough to get to play around with some new stuff once in a while!

Thank you! Yes, they are BIG cars, seems like they shouldn`t be that big! LOL

Sweet. Thanks for the info. Might come in handy later
You think pro polish would work ok on that too?

^^^NP, anytime. LOL, yeah, I think any `light` polish/pad combo would work well. I just had to `take it easy` on it and do multiple light, almost zero pressure, passes and it started to turn out great!

Wasnt sure if you were supposed to use chemical or abrasive type polish on plastic. I`d fugue chemical type.
