We've had that feedback only a handful of times and, at least in those cases, it seemed to be a result of what was on the glass to begin with. It was either not completely clean or polished or there were mineral deposits, previous products, etc. left on the glass. Based off that, I'd initially say make sure the glass is completely stripped bare (you can use Glass Cleaning Clay then polish) then let it completely dry.

On top of that, I'll let you in a little secret: we have special version of our new PFM Towel made specifically for glass that is absolutely amazing for buffing off. If you're still having trouble, knowing your process would help too. We could try to replicate it in R&D and see what's going on. Hopefully that helps!

Thanks for the feed back.

I polish the glass with a glass polish,da, and a polish pad. Then do 2 20%IPA wipe downs. I apply a coat of sealant with a microfiber applicator in a cross hatch pattern, wait 10 miss or for a hazed to appear then apply again the same way. I wait 15-20 min to ensure a hazed. Then buff once with a waffle weave towel, then again with a general purpose Mf towel till I see nothing left.

It looks clear in the shade, but once in the sun there are some cloudy spots. Which I end up re-creating with some Griot's glass cleaner. Which I feel may diminish some of the sealant.

Ok, that helps a lot. The team I need to run this by is out until Tuesday. I'll go over this with them then if that works.

Welcome to the forums! I have your 6" polisher and love it. Also have Speed Shine Clay kit with the Speed shine towels and they are all great products.
 
Hey Rsurfer...Griot's Manufacturers its Car Care Products in house. Our chemist formulates unique formulas on the bench, then performs a scale up batch to ensure bench formulas translate into 100's of gallons... then our production team mixes the formulas. There are few companies left who actually manufacturer their own products...we continue to invest in our research and development to ensure our quality is legit.

Just used your bug and smudge spray remover on my car after a trip. The front was covered with bugs I just spritz the front good let it set and used my cleaning pad and came off with no trouble :)
 
Question about your pads. i heard a few people say they remind them of the LC hydotech pads. So are your pads the same as the hydrotechs?

The trick to using it is to apply it thin. I use a CarPro block with a paper shop towel wrapped around it with just a line of product - just like a coating. The second trick is to wait for it to dry much longer than 20 mins. The longer the product sits - the easier it is to buff off. I've let it sit for an hour plus. If it's applied thin and completely dry - it's pretty easy to buff off.

If you have a stubborn spot, you can just spray it with DI water when you buff it off.

I will try that out, sound right as a pad applicator does absorb another of product.
