Zymols NEW wax

I hear they're currently working on a new wax, called Eclipsis. It is activated by moonlight, so you can only apply it on a full moon. It costs $60,000 (shipping and tax not included) with free refills for life. The difference with this vs. Solaris is that you get a free detailer for this price. You carefully set Eclipsis on top of your hood on a full moon, and a warewolf appears from the shadows and applies it for you with his bare paws. It's currently still in beta stage, as the warewolf tends to leave scratches with his paw. They are thinking about substituting the warewolf for a Mexican in a wolf's costume instead.

LOL!!! How about a hot girl appears and waxes your car?

Everyone take a step back for a minute.

So, Zymol has a new wax that's $30,000 right? Everyone thinks that's nuts, right? Hmmm...Vintage is only $7800. Seems quite reasonable now...

See where I'm going with this?

Even better...Vintage is only $1800...Royale is $7800

Point me in the direction PD is unhappy with Zymol.

Actually if you check on detailingworld.co.uk, paul is not too happy with zymol and may be crossing over to swissvax.

I think people will be more at "Aww" at the $ amount the wax cost than rather the looks of the wax.

Honestly, I just want it to have that sweet *** 3d pyramid. :LOLOL

I agree the pyramid is awesome... maybe I will make one out of plexiglass and put some of my own wax in there!:secret

ROLMAO!!:idea

It may have resulted in, or been the result of this.

The pictures, especially of the BMW look really good but bear in mind that there were plenty of clouds in the sky and that'll make any reflection look good.

But about Solaris... does anyone know how it's solar activated? If they mean it'll "become a wax" when it's out in the sun, I think a simple warm water bath would do the trick. Then they could market it as "hydro-oxygenation activated" wax or something like that. 30k for a wax. I hope that when I can afford that I'll be doing something charitable instead!

But the thing is, any well properly prepped paint surface will deliver good reflections in the correct light conditions, in pictures the wax adds nothing, and in the flesh it adds very little - this is why $30,000 for a wax is bordering on insane, even with free refills.

He certainly is, in fact he is launching his own wax soon. There will be two, he says as far as cost goes "one will be in the hundreds, and the other in the thousands but when you see what it comes in you'll know why"

He even has pictures up of cars that he has done with his new wax and says his customers prefer the appearance over royale.

For 30k I can get a kilo of pure columbian...

With the 3,000 left from the kilo, there will be a few disposable hundreds. I spit on the gold spoon.

I would assume the one in the thousands would have free refills, or else no one would buy it. I doubt I will be purchasing his new wax, after proper prep almost anything will look good. I bet if I took pictures of my black car prepped with no wax or sealant I could convince someone I had their favorite LSP on it.
