Zymol's Glasur Estate Wax

Well, the key with Zymol (and I think really any wax) is to apply it thin. Less is more in this case. I started using the 4 oz container of Vintage about two years ago. It's maybe half gone now. I don't wax my car during the winter (too cold) just the summer. I probably put one coat on a month during the summer. So, I've probably done between this car and my old car (Audi TT) 10-12 waxes.

It is best to apply it in thin but even coats. I take my time to buff it off, as I will do it in stages so that I will get all of the wax haze buffed to a resolution without streaking or marring. You shouldn't use any hard or assertive pressure; Take your time and go over the panel at least two times with two different buffing cloths and you will be fine.

From experience Zymol will work immediately after its settled. However, you will see an extraordinary difference from what you were using prior to Zymol in the third or fourth application. When the application and buffing technique of your zymol is finally mastered, I'd wager that you will end up just staring at the panels for awhile. That is the impression zymol left with me; But do not take my word for it. Make the plunge.

I have been using Zymol Concours this past year. I am a Zaino convert. Mike, I met you at the Japanese show in Boston. Glad to see my Zymol hints are working for you.

Hmm, nice NSX. I saw 2 yesterday on the road (in the UK) an old and a new style one. Love them to bits. 5th Gear (UK car show) has a special on the NSX next week (Monday) as it is going out of production. You should be able to find a download if you search enough.

Chris right? Good to hear from you. Yes, buffing the wax off sooner than I was doing before seems to leave more wax on the car. Thanks for the tip!! Also, thanks again to your friend for the beer!! How did the gift baskets go over with your wives?

Wow! Now I know I'm not seeing things! Wonderful results!!! Unfortunately for the wallet, I am hooked on Concours.

Mike,

My name is John, no worries. I never checked with Rich on his gift basket. I kept loading up on beer. It is actually pretty good. I may get some more sometime.

The other Mike,

Thanks for the heads up. I will be searching for the video.
