Zymol Wax?

dont waste your money. IF you want a high end wax try pinnacle souveran. Nattys Blue and Nattys are DC favorites as well. I think we all agree that it is the preperation you put into your detail that makes the car look great and not the wax.

Who ever wastes their money on that stuff is Stupid. I don't care what kind of shine it has, how long it lasts. I can find alot more to spend 1500.00 on.

i might have to buy this with 2 other friends. instead of 50$ a pop for pinnacle wax, here i get unlimited! for LIFE! and most likely a 100x better wax than pinnacle seeing as its taken from one of the rarest carnabura's around.

I think its not the best waxes ever known to man. But the biggest markup ripoff ever known to man. I highly suggest just getting a jar of souveran for 60 bucks. YOu can get about 45-60 applications per jar.

Greg

hey, you pay for what you get. They do have alot of nerve to charge 1500$ but how many people in the world can say, i have that jar in my garage. And im sure it is actually one of the best waxes ever. For 1500 developed in 1947, it has to be one if not the best!

Well you can do what you want with your money but I hope you will take the time to prep your vehicle because as I have stated its not the wax that makes it look great but the prep.

Greg

wax does matter. Not just the prep. Wax enhances all surfaces into smooth and glossy. I think id rather trust a wax that has been in production for 60 years than a wax that has just been made. Over 60 years... before you/i was born. 60 years is alot of time to perfect and amplify wax. You get what you pay for.

In my opinion, anyone who buys a $1,500 jar of wax needs to be thoroughly examined. I'm with Greg as far as the importance of preparation. But, then agian, it's your money and I'm sure you'll spend it the way you want to. Just remember, you asked for our opinions.

i think u need to read the forums more. see what actually does the work in car detailng. its the prep not the wax. but you spend you money where you want to. i like my nattys and im stickin to it.

Sam you seem to be defending a product that you asked if it is worth it.
You product you say has been around since 1947. Here is the quote from your link
Based on the award-winning mixture that was developed for the 1947 Bentley Mark VI Cabriolet

Based on the forulma means that they could have changed it every year.
Meg's #16 which was a favorite for many people was developed in 1951, but only discontinued this year due to VOC regs, and that was about $10-$15 a tin.

Go with Natty's, S100, Pinnacle, TS, Meg's, or whoever. Just don't toss away 5 months of car payments of a wax

It's a pricey wax, but it must have some speciality to it. I'll stick to preparation of a perfect surface first!

ggez! with that much money spent on one jar i could buy every sealant, wax discussed ont his forum and make a combo to outshine that sucker. i saw a post done on autopia a while back with one of the 800 dollar waxes form zymol and the shine was good but it definately didnt look that much better to say its worth that much. same opinions came from the user of the product.

but hey. thats ALMOST as bad as the rims that are worth 250k because they are amde of white gold with real diamond billets. like anyone can really tell they're diamonds and its white gold... same thign with nattys and souveran. to the user one of the two might look better or different but no one ont he street is gonna tell the difference.

same with symol 1500 dollar steal!

that wax costs more than the beater i drive!!! i hope it comes with a buffer, bottles, compounds etc.. for that price. pappy and greg are right, the prep is the important part
