What is the deal with the price of this stuff? 800.00????? Has anyone heard of this 60 % Brazilian White Carnuba Wax? Is this really worth this much money? I met someone that uses this stuff on his show cars, and yes they look like they have been dipped in water. This guy is also a DR on the side so i guess its not hard for him to buy this wax. Aplication is done by hand, yes by hand no pads or bonnets, and sits for three hours before removing. Who knows, is it really worth it?

Is a wax worth $800? ‘Atlantique’ was custom formulated for Ralph Laurens 1937 Bugatti and contains 60% white Carnauba wax.



Beauty is in the ‘guy’ of the beholder, from my experience of their Carnaba waxes ( Zymol Concours) gives the best depth, colour and clarity.



I was given their Vintage Carrnuaba wax ($1,100 with life-time free refills) amazing (no not the price the shine LOL)

This is a direct quote by Zymol, I tried it, and my girlfriend watched and wondered what she’d got herself into with a guy that caresses his car with a wax (but I did hear her whisper, “Me next� LOL :cool: ).



I apply it with a dry 100% cotton micro fibre Alpine DFâ„¢ cloth, remove residue and buff 3 – 4 hours later with a CBT Autopia Concourseâ„¢ Buffing Towel

You need to melt the wax in the palm of your hands first. Then apply the wax with your palms. The palms are very durable, your fingers give up long before your palms do. It is a very strange feeling to apply wax this way for the first time.
 
Just make sure to wash your hands before you apply the wax.. You don't want to introduce foreign grease from the big whopper you ate for lunch ;)
