Zaino ZPC vs Menzerna FPII?

I was going to use a product recommended by 'ACCUMULATOR' but the product couldn't be found , discontinued!



Now, the finish will be Klasse AIO and Klasse SG.

It is the opinion of the forum I need to use a "Swirl Remover". I wanted to use the 3M-05937 but as said i can't get it.



So, I would like opinions on Menzerna FPII vs Zaino ZPC for the polish. To be followed by Klasse AIO and Klasse SG.



The Klasse products, I received today from Auto Geek. Right or Wrong, Not interested in anything but the question: Zaino ZPC vs Menzerna FPII. There has been enough confusion. I picked the road now please help me down it.



Please don't forget to recommend the proper LC pad to use in your recommendations and how many of the type I should get.

PS. Keep in mind that I have no experience whatsoever.

I purchased the PC724 and a 5"LC Velcro pad for using different LC pads.

For health reasons I need to use the 724 as much as possible, sorry to say!!
 
FPII is a great final polish. Makes your finish look waxed before it's even touched by any LSP :)



You're not going to get anything out but spiderwebbing with the FPII however, you might want to look into a medium polish as well to do before the FPII if you actually want to remove swirls.
 
my personal current favorite is to use the optimum line... optimum compound finishing out with optimum polish... woot woot :)
 
ZPC, one of my favorite polishes, I describe as:



When used with a light cut pad, it cuts like menzerna IP, and finishes like Menzerna FPII. On 90% of paint I have used the ZPC on, using a light cut pad will finish perfect. If a slight hazing is present, just use a polishing or finishing pad.

on my NBM paint they both finish identicle. Menzerna uses harder abrasives than ZPC so paint hardness probably plays a role in final results.
 
I use both very often and I love the glow that zpc leaves behind. It's quick to use also and not as much dust as fpII. Remember a little goes a long way!
 
Depends on the level of your swirls. Menzerna FP is a finishing polish, may or may not address your swirls. Intensive Polish is more suited for this. I would have atleast a light cut polish and a medium cut polish at my disposal, incase the lighter cut is to light and then move to the medium. What its going to come down to is testing different polishes to see what gives you the best results on your particular paint. While I use Zaino I have not used ZPC. I can tell you Menzernas FP gives an excellent gloss.

I'm not exactly sure what you meant by my situation, and suggesting to go with Menzerna. Don't get me wrong, I don't know if you are talking about my health, the BLACK paint or what. Can you explain more?





Anyway this is how I have evaluated everyone's answers as a whole.

When the objective is BLACK paint perfection (mine), neither one will work as a final finish. Each seems to have it's drawbacks in one range or the other depending on paint condition.

My particular situation is a 1999 Tacoma with black paint, I have no idea whether Toyota's paints are hard or soft as often remarked in posts. However it is known that now and down the road the "clear coats" are going to be a "Whole Lot" harder. If I decide I need a paint job, I have to keep this in mind, because I am never selling this truck!

Do to the age and lack of care I am going to have to use a 2 step polish, like Menzerna IP/FP or whatever. It is just not realistic to expect a polish to be an awesome swirl/blemish remover and provide the necessary final polish prior to sealant/wax!



I'm wide open to any and all suggestions/criticisms but this is the conclusion that "You Guys" brought me to.



Now which two step polishing process do I follow:

I want to use the Klasse AIO and SG since they have an absolutely awesome proven background for the final sealent/polish, I already received both in a Shipment from "AutoGeek".



However this polishing process is still leaving me with headaches! As I said above I really believe it is a 2 step process, so this is the direction I intend to take. Actually, according to most of you guys I will only have to use the 2 step polishing method once. After the initial medium swirl/whatever removal, the final polish medium is all I will have to worry about if I follow the correct washing procedures.



However , the only 2 step polishing system I am aware of is the Menzerna IP/FP this might be the best way to go but I really have no idea.



I intend to clear my observations with the "Accumulator" before I proceed because he has been such a big help in everything, and obviously throughly schooled in all these processes.

This doesn't mean I don't want as many professional comments as I can get, because information is the key to "SUCCESS" and that is the direction I have chosen!

there are many "2-step" polishing processes. Optimum, Blackfire, XMT, Poorboys, 1Z, CG, etc. I think you will have success with any of them. some may be faster and/or easier to work with. as you could pick any of them and given the time and patience they will all work
