I was having a discussion with Jusstzn on VWVortex, but this isn't about that.



I started looking for the info I was telling her I once found (and cannot find now of course), and I noticed Sal says (on zainobros.com) you can dilute Z6 down, to give you more Z6 for your buck since it's so highly concentrated.



Have any of you had any luck with a diluting Z6 down to a 1:1 ratio, say 8oz Z6, 8oz Distilled water?



Please note: Some customers have a difficult time using Z-6â„¢ Ultra Clean in it's extremely high concentration. You may find that diluting Z-6â„¢ Ultra Clean with distilled water up to a ratio of 1 to 1 will help you get the best results. Start diluting small proportions and test until you find it works the best for how you apply the product. This will definitely make Z-6â„¢ Ultra Clean more user friendly for you and give you more bang for your buck!

Just trying to find a good happy medium on a dilution, since Zaino isn't readily available locally for me anymore.
 
I mix Z6 1:1 with water for normal QD'ing, and QD'ing after washing. I've been doing that for almost 2 years, it works fine.
 
Awesome! Good to know, I was always concerned with Z6, since it's rather pricey (especially after shipping). If I can essentially double a bottle that would rock.



Does it still have a nice grape-like scent? :D
 
I emailed Sal about this question and he said that he doesn't recommend it (of course), but that it won't have any bad effects.

AB-SO-lutely. It's not a pure grape, though. I'd call it grape soda. The best I've yet to smell.

It's quite interesting that it's on the Z6 info page.. yet he doesn't recommend it? Shrugs, why bother have it up there.
