hey guys i been using zaino zcs on all the of my cars (03 escalade ext white diamond,03 e500 benz black and my rare baby 98 camaro z28 cayenne red like a dr pepper can) and it looks super slick but i cant tell if it last at all.

i been using the ice over the counter soap and i cleans and works well but the car dont feel real slick after the wash i does if i hit it with a detail spray but i have used regular zaino z2pro and it would always feel slick after a wash like i dident even need a detail spray.

so first question is which one is better from the 3 i mentioned

and second question is if the soap i been useing is removing the sealants like zcs?

thanks guys

Haven't used Adams but Opti-Seal is a lot better than Z-CS. Better gloss, depth, slickness. Plus it is less prone to streaking.

No idea about ICE car wash, I'd go with Duragloss 901 if you are going to use a retail level wash.

I second Scott on the Opti-seal.

Also, haven't used the ICE wash but tried Turtle Wax's ICE spray wax and it was complete trash. I would recommend switching over to Meguiar's Gold Class for a shampoo, really slick and doesn't add anything to the finish.

Scott, are you still comparing ZCS v1 to OS? I remember back in the day you never tried ZCS v2.

My opinion is that when Bret and I did a one step on a Toyota back in the day, Bret applied OS and personally I could not tell the difference.

I've used Optiseal, Ultima and ZCS. In my early tests, atleast initial looks and appearance, Carpro Reload smokes all three of them.

ok im reading your replys and did not know there is a version 1 and version 2 of zcs so if there is i have the version 1 i baught it when it was first released.

im going to get some better soap and and place an order foe some opti seal.

The Adam's Quick Sealant has a claimed durability of 3-4 months, but I am getting some beading after 6 months on a car that is always outside.

Scott also tests for Opt so he would never say Opti-seal isn't better than something else.....

He TESTS. He also tests for Meg's and Clearkote. Notice he uses Meg's polishes, but not much else. Scott is not biased. Frankly, he uses what works best, from what I have seen. Optimum products flat out work. I think it's tough to kind of bash a guy as well respected as Scott.

Really want to try Opti-seal. Does anyone know how many versions there are of OS? online detailing store in my country just got a batch in that they claim is 2012 formula but I see the new one is only coming out now stateside?
