Zaino Z2 over Z6?

I've been using the Z6 gloss enhancer over my original Zaino Z2 application ( last June) now I want to reapply Z2, it has lost some of the slick feeling. Can I go over the top of the Z6? or do I have to strip it back, I don't have a defects to fix.

So the gloss enhancer is significantly different that other QD's? cause you would not want to go over them, right?

Umm... no. A QD spray is just that -- a QD spray. It's not designed to be a protectant of significant value, more to remove dust and finger oils/prints. It does not create a "layer" of anything on the surface per se, so it's not going to affect bonding.

In the Zaino system Z6 is completely compatible with any other Zaino product. The same is true of Z8.

That said you are correct not all QDâ€â„¢s can be used prior to Z2. It all depends on how you define what a QD is. If the QD in question contains any type of oil, silicone, carnauba, etc., then it will interfere with the Z2 bonding and your durability will suffer. Much like you are advised not to use any type of polish that contains oils, fillers, carnauba, etc. without first doing an alcohol wipe down.

Z6 to your content and Z2 anytime you want.

Sometimes I'll Z6 the car first before using Z2.It makes the surface a little more slick and allows me to spread out the Z2 in thinner coats.

No need to do an alcohol wipe down first. There's nothing that needs to be removed.
