Zaino Z-16 tire dressing on plastic trim.

Heya everyone. I've noticed a couple folks asking about products for exterior plastic trim lately. My car has quite a bit of plastic trim and I've never been happy with products I've tried on it, so last time I detailed I tried some Z-16 tire dressing. Just wanted to say it looks really good (nice gloss, not too shiny) and has held up through two washes so far. It didn't drop or streak like 303 sometimes does, either. Just a tip for those of you with plastic trim woes like me.

:2thumbs:

I also have a lot of black plastic trim on my Tacoma. I really like the Z-16 which holds up well to washing, but the rain degrades it quickly. I just ordered some Meguiars #38 which I have heard good things about.

I love Z-16 for exterior trim. Dries with nice sheen and does not run after a rain (if excess is buffed off after application), economical, UV protectant, water not silicone based and as stated previously seems to last quite awhile on tires and trim. :xyxthumbs

Vanilla Moose works great on exterior trim. :xyxthumbs

Does it work on tires also? :nixweiss

There are many great products that work on trim (303, Sonus, Plexus, PB Natural Sheen, AA original, 1Z Metallic, AIO, KSG, Z2, Z2-PRO, Z5 etc, etc, etc).

I think the point of this thread was the discovery by this Z16 user of another use of this excellent tire dressing.
