Zaino QD options

Is anyone using a different QD with Z?? I know I need to use Z6 between coats of Z but what about for daily QD'g?? I have been using FI and OGSO with great results..I was going to save the Z6 for when I apply more coats of Z..



Besides Im cehap and you can get a gallon of FI or OGSO for 20$:rolleyes:
 
I usually use Meguiars Final Inspection ($13/gallon) for daily QDing along with a California Car Duster. I only use Z6 occasionally after washes, or before and after every coat of Zaino.



It's free of any silicones or waxes. I know a few people have use OGSO on Zaino with sucess too.
 
I too use Meguiar's Final Inspection for after wash QDs. After my gallon of FI is used up, I plan on using One Grand Show Off.
 
I got mine from the Detailing Depot in Costa Mesa for $13 or so. It's actually called Final Detail, but according to them, its just FI repackaged into bulk for professional detailers. Its works, smells, looks, and feels the same.

Cool, thanks for the info. I had seen that stuff online before and was wondering if it was repackaged FI but hadn't heard that before.



Have you tried FI to know for a fact that the guy was right?
 
Man, I don't want to critique your findings but my experiences with Final Inspection are quite different! It is WAY down on my list of favorite quick detailers. I like Einmann Fabrik Clear Pearl, One Grand Show Off and Wizards Mist and Shine FAR better than the Meguiars product. And I find that Z6 is still the best accent detailer to the Zaino system. When used as directed it takes very little and goes a long way. Maybe not the cheapest but the results are surpassed by few products if any.
 
I was never really impressed with FI...OGSO is much better in my opinion....

I am really impressed with Blackfire QD. It's a little pricey, but I think it is as good if not better than Z6. I haven't tried it on Zaino just yet, but I have on Klasse and it is excellent!

I tried the FI and Sonus on Zaino but I just do not like it so I bought more of the Z stuff and will just keep using it. As for the Klasse Blazer I like the Sonus Acylic spray stuff. I do use FI for bird bombs and bugs though.
 
FI has pretty good lubricity but other than that I'm not too amazed -- there must be much better stuff out there. OGSO is slicker and about the same price, but I have to check out that repackaged stuff! Can't beat $13 . . .
 
I am wondering about this too. I have a gallon of OGSO, and it is definately my favorite non-Zaino QD. I would love to use it again.



Interestingly, I have not found Z6 to be that expensive. I have been using Zaino for about three months, and I still have half a bottle of Z6 left. I QD after each wash and 1-2 times during the week.



One Grand makes the GREATEST products!
 
Dude, how is it that you get so many uses out of z6? I thought most people used just under one ounce per QD . . . do you apply it with foam or something? :D
 
'Puter, I know what you mean- I can't explain it! I follow the directtions, using 2-3 squirts for my hood and 1 1/2 for each other panel, and it just lasts a long time! I never use anywhere near an ounce per application, that's for sure, and I have a SUV. Guess I've just been lucky.
 
Dude I 'm finding my application similar to yours. I thought about marking my bottle each time I use it to see how many apps I get from it, but decided I was too lazy to do that. I don't even give it a full pull, maybe 1/4 to 1/2 a pull.
