Menzerna polishes are by far one of the top products out. I've yet to try the FMJ but I hear it's quite nice and very reflective as well.
Sure, you can Z5/Z2 then top with caranuba for added depth wet look. For light colors and light metalics I'd use the P21S. For darker colors, Poorboys Natty Blue. Or blow money on Souveran which when a side-by-side test I did in the past at a Poorboys detail meet, only one person could distiguish between Natty and Souveran.
Zaino being so highly reflective looks very nice on it's own. Or save some cash, use Poorboys EX-P and top that!
Then again, coats of Zaino sprayed with the new Z8 is just incredible!
So far, I have three coats Z5 and one coat Z2 Pro with Z8 between each coat on my new black Porsche (See Garage) and one last mist of Z8. Even the Porsche dealer is floored on how well and deep relective that black looks!
It all depends if your after longer periods between LSP's with depth or as a sacrificial layer of caranuba then do the sealant/wax. If you want very reflective look, stay pure sealant giving you the opportinity to add more rather than stripping wax first.
I'd test one area side-by-side to see which you prefer before doing the whole car. Once happy with the results, stick with it, maintain it and you'll be very happy not having to re-polish,seal,wax each and every time.
Good luck on the look you're attempting.
