Currently im using the whole zaino line, and its about to run out pretty soon, now ive heard alot about klasse aio and sg topped w/ caranuba like p21s.
This is the price im gettin from autopia carecare.com
aio16.9oz
sg 33.8oz
p21s

total comes out to be $78

and this is the zaino package
zfx
z2pro
z6
z8
total comes out to be around $73

which package would you guys prefer. ALso, how long does the klasse aio and sg last? like how long would a bottle of 16.9oz and 33.8oz bottles of aio and sg last for?

Thanks

Just remember that the bottles of Zaino are smaller than 16 oz. so you are really not comparing apples to apples.

Both are good products and both have long endurance. Preparation and car color make a difference also.

Because I am addicted to the whole detailing process it was easy for me. I just use both. It works for me.

Only you will be able to decide.

Zaino has always lasted longest for me personally, and the now with the improved shine in Z2 Pro and the added slickness and gloss of Z8, I see no reason to go with anything else.

It took less than an ounce of AIO to do my Jeep GC. I don't use SG, but I would expect about the same. Thus, I could do my Jeep with AIO/SG(x2)/P21s roughly 18 times for that $78 ($4.33 per application). How does that compare to your experience with the Z?

I would order some AIO, it comes in handy on friends cars, trim, doorjambs, whatever.

And order Zaino.

You might also want to look into Collinte.

thanks for the reply guys,
THe one thing that i dont like about zaino is the fact that i have to use zfx along w/ z2 and z5 and the fact that they bottles are only about 8oz.

I know most people on this forum use aio and sg alot. And since i also detail peoples cars (every now and then) Im thinking aio, sg p21s might be the way to go since the products might last longer

Im pretty much inclined towards klasse now , altho ive heard that meguairs has a new sealnat #21 i believe. Has any one tried that and see how it compares w/ klasse..

Thanks for the info

Autogeek.net has AIO/SG and p21s on sale......it would come out to $65.67 with the detailcity member discount plus shipping.

Meguiar's #21 looks good, but doesn't have the durability of Zaino Z2 Pro. As far as the Zaino ZFX, remember that it allows you to layer Zaino up to three layers/applicaitons in one day, where as Klasse SG requires you to wait at least over night, if not 24 hours to do another layer.

As far as the 8 Oz. size of the Zaino Bottle - I still have a Bottle of the older Zaino Z2 laying around, that still has four ounces in it after I did three cars with those four ounces - three layers on my Mom's Explorer, three layers on my dad Escort wagon, and three layers on my wife's Escape, and all those applied with a Porter Cable 7336 polisher.

Just to do my Mom's Explorer with Meg' s#20 a few years before - two applications on the Explorer with the PC took over a third of a 16 ounce bottle. If you learn to put Zaino on THIN, that 8 ounce bottle will outlast Klasse, Meguiar's, or anything else.

I thought alot about it and your right about zaino, at the end it will last longer then klasse, megs etc. I think products like megs are good if you detail alot of cars, but if you detail your own cars and want the best zaino is probably the way to go

As much as i love my Zaino, megs 21 is a really good product.

If you ever get the itch to use glazes, 21 will go over any megs glaze, and possibly RMG, i dunno.

But it is silly for a weekend warrior to buy a huge bottle of any decent sealant, it will out live most all of us haha.

Believe me, it took a while for me to be a convert to Zaino, and even since, I've tried other products, like Meg's #21, but in the end, it comes down to durability and appearance, and on a properly prepped surface, I have not found anything that beats Zaino. I have no idea what polymers Sal puts in Z, but all I know, is it works.

Until someone does a scientific testing -- either with 2 idential cars under similar weathering conditions -- this is always going to be subjective.

FWIW, I've used KLASSE and UPP ontop of AIO and found it lasts months with a periodic wash. Honestly, unless you're trying to go as long as possible without detailing -- which few of us are looking to do -- you're probably going to detail well before it totally fades.

I've never used Zaino myself. But KLASSE and UPP and EX-P seem to provide pretty good protection.
