thanks for your help greg. i think i'll go with the zfx, z5pro, z6, and maybe the z8 if it really is that good. what do you think? will that yield some great shine?

This is the same combo I used on my 07 avalanche. The color is graystone met. This is the first time I have used the Zaino products. With only 2 coats of the z5pro, I can't believe the shine that this stuff gives. It is by far the best wax I have ever used. The shine is so pure and clear that if there is any defects in the paint or body work it will show up big time. It is very important for a good prep to get the most out of the Zaino.

a lot of guys go crazy and do Z6 wipedowns between coats. IMO it's not neccessary.

So are you saying just go right to applying the next coat of z2 or z5 and don't use any type of in between wipedown. Mike... Oh and Hi everyone been a long time reader and have learn something all the time on this forum!!!

vwdgood,

This is off-topic, but have you noticed that jazz blue looks completely different in pictures than in person? It seems to me at least to have a darker look in person with kind of a purplish-pearl effect, as opposed to the brighter, "truer" blue appearance it has in photos. This could just be me. I like the color either way. :)

heres some pics in wintermode, and a summer picture... ill post up when i detail it in a few weeks and put the coilovers all the way down.

be sure to check more Zaino threads for varied opinions.

Don't do that!!! You may end up purchasing the whole wonderful line of products offered by Zaino.:getdown

Bare essentials after extensive prep.

Z-AIO instead of ZFX . Use Z-AIO as base and final polishing agent. Z-AIO also great for mid-term minor preps. Great for cleaning, shining and protecting those summer wheels too.

Z5PRO or Z2PRO (depending on color) Jazz Blue could go with either.

Z-CS. Extra "POP" and wonderful topper.

Z6 and/or Z8 for QD'ing after each wash if desired.

Hope this helps.:wavey

I just started doing some research on Zaino's website. I have read posts on the forums so many times so I finally checked into it. I think I will be purchasing there products in the future.
